Tribe Found in Amazon untouched


Rio De Janeiro - Brazil's government to ensure the existence of a new tribe untouched in the Amazon rainforest. It is estimated there are 68 isolated populations there.

Funai estimates there are 68 isolated populations living in the Amazon. Newest tribes were identified and estimated to number 200 individuals living in four large straw hut and living from growing corn, bananas, beans and other crops.


"Identifying and protecting tribal public policy is part of Brazil. To ensure this kind of interest it took many years of research, "said Fabricio Amorim expedition coordinator.

So far, 11% of Brazilian territory and 22% Brazilian territory known to be a shelter for the tribes untouched.
