Monkey Black Sulawesi, Indonesia. Global Smile

As reported by the Telegraph, according to Slater, 46 years, the monkey was smiling because for the first time looked at self-reflection. The monkey then made hundreds of photographs. "One of the monkeys would not accidentally hit the camera and began photographing as interested strange sounds coming out of the camera," said the photographer.


Monkeys are jumping to and fro in my gear and looked ready to pose for the camera when pressing the capture key images. Most did not focus. "Maybe the first time they are still confused, but when I leave for longer, perhaps he could make a family photo album," he said.


Slater came to North Sulawesi to photograph a black monkey. Black monkey is a rare protected animals. Famous black monkey is very smart. "Like the chimps, but they are more curious," he said.


Besides smarter, according to Slater, a black monkey is very friendly. For three days in the park, Slater was always surrounded by these monkeys. They are not aggressive and did not feel threatened by the presence of humans nearby.


Sulawesi black monkeys are endangered species from the northern island of Sulawesi and some neighboring islands. His trademark is a black hair all over his body except his back, and groin are quite bright. Tasseled black head, hairless face, snout more prominent. Body length of up to 44.5 to 60 inches, tail 20 inches, and weighs 15 kilograms.
